Welcome to our Simple Holiday Gift Bag in which we give gifts away to our readers. We are giving away one each day through December 22. All the info is below. Happy Holidays!

Gift: Shoe Wheel Storage System
Shop: Rakku
Designer: Danilo Torro
City: Los Angeles, CA

Description: This is VERY POPULAR with certain people in our office, even though it is arguably the least beautiful gift in our bag. The story of it's birth is classic:

A few years ago, upon moving into a new apartment in Hong Kong, Torro--a former manufacturing engineer for McDonnell Douglas--got tired of having no storage alternative but to pile up his family's shoes in the corner of their spare bedroom...

Friday's Winner:
Out of 210 emails, Jefferey H. from Streamwood, IL gets the Gro Taller Vase from Octate
- Go To Entire Gift Bag -

His solution was this wheel that has expandable pockets and holds up to 30 pairs of shoes. Now who has 30 pairs of shoes? ;-)(More info is below).

INFO: The Shoe Wheel is an innovatively designed mobile storage unit with twenty expandable pockets that can hold up to thirty pairs of shoes, depending on the type. The Shoe Wheel fits up to men's size 10.5 shoe (Eur 44).

The Shoe Wheel is very simple to use. Shoes are inserted into the pockets through elastic cords, which secure them snugly into place. The pockets are easily adjustable to fit a variety of shoes: sneakers, high heels and flats. Just rotate the Shoe Wheel to make a selection.

While my shoes aren't quite as "technicolor rainbow" as the ones in the picture here, I still would love love love to own this.

I gave this to my sister for Hanukkah, and she was thrilled. If you decide to order it, be aware that the shipping is expensive. I'm not sure why, because they just sent it in the box it's packaged in, without any outer packaging.

My Mom would be thrilled to have the Shoe Wheel Storage System. She is the goddess of beautiful shoes. I only wish we were the same size.
