This looks like a great vacuum - nice and light and easy to use on carpet. But sometimes stains are just impossible to get out - and they need a little more help. I'm doing some work with the Scott Common Sense website and it has a tone of cleaning tips - from how to get out stains in carpets to how to keep sangria cold in the summer. Check it out if you have time:

We rescued a wonderful dog named Mattie who has even swayed my husband into a dog-lover :) She is a beautiful Corgie mix. Unfortunately her bits and tufts of fur that she leaves about does not blend well with the 2 cheap blue rugs covering the vintage hardwood floors in our house. Mix that with destructoboy (my 10 year old son) and I am often chasing crumbs and doggie fur tumbleweeds. All I have is a big ol' 1 ton vac that can occasionally blow a fuse. I cannot even describe the odor from the bags- no matter how often I change them. The Ergorapido is bagless and cordless so how amazing would that be?
Save my sanity, my delicate nose, and my fuse box!

Ah, New England in the summer... cats shedding all over the hard floors that cover our entire apartment. Friends bringing their dog by to visit... and add his hair to the mess... the dust and allergens blowing in through open window's causing my sweetie's eyes to swell, nose to turn bright red, and soon follows the crankiness... and lest we forget that somehow it always seems acceptable to tromp around the house in sandals, even though shoes are always deposited at the door. Yes, i think this thing will do wonders to keep out dusty old home CLEAN this summer... and maybe even save my relationship!

Two dogs, (one with black hair) , one slow moving remodel (almost done), one baby on the way plus a WHITE polished concrete floor in 90% of the house = sweeping morning and night, sometimes in between.

I don't regret the doggies, I don't regret the remodel, I don't regret the upcoming baby, I don't regret the floor choice. I DO regret not investing in a small vacuum like this.

What sort of mess will the Ergorapido help me clean? That's easy. A BIG one. I may be a small-ish person living in a small space, but I have a special talent for creating a sizable mess. Some examples:
-Every morning, far fewer coffee grounds make it into the filter than around it;
-Even though I sharpen my eyeliner over the trash can, the shavings always end up on the bathroom floor;
-I can't pour new cat litter into the box without distributing an equal amount throughout the room;
-I am unable to prepare--never mind eat-- a sandwhich without getting crumbs everywhere;
-My crumpled paper never makes it into the basket.

Please, for all things good and decent in this world and my long-suffering mother's sake, pick me.

To clean up the after-meal/snack crumbs that always accumulate under the table.
To clean up the dog hair that is everywhere (after my resolution that we would never get a dog that would shed - never say never!)
And the best thing is to clean the stairs & the kids rooms upstairs - I think hubby lugged the vaccum up there once in the 9 months we've lived here!

And could then swiftly clean up the dust on the floor
Or even use it under the door
Could also suck up that random lock of hair
And anything else to make my room look fair

Just pull out my two in one Electrolux--rapido!

I mention the kitchen because we have a balcony off of it, and a pretty cherry tree that loves to drop stuff on it. When anybody comes in from outside, it seems half the tree comes with them, onto our white kitchen floor. So, this sweeper would be great to clean that up!

We put down sand colored tiles in the living room to make it look beachy when I could not stand the green carpet another minute. Now it LOOKS great, but my 5 dogs are a little messy, esp since they have to use the front door to come in and out. Not only will it help with their tracking, but also one of the dogs, Kitty, sneaks bread and snack cakes out of the pantry (yes she can open the doors herself) and carries them around for a few days til one of the other dogs takes it away from her and then they always leave a crumbly mess. Trust me when I tell you the Ergorapido would be put to good use.

Our front porch and back patio doors are level with our entryways, so a lot of dirt, grass, etc. gets tracked in every day, especially during the summer when we go in-and-out more often. It is a challenge to keep it all cleaned up so this vacuum would be a big help.

I have been wanting one of these. It will help greatly in cleaning my small kitchen floor. It's where my pooch stays during the day in my one bedroom fabulous old apartment. Nothing ever gets up all of the dog hair and food on the floor and, I always end up on my hands and knees sweeping and scrubbing away. It's one of those chores I could do without and this little helper could really make me happy. Oh the simple things.

The sort of mess it would clean in our house is almost indescribable. Start out with floor under the chair where our two and a half year-old eats---yikes! Then add the door to the backyard that is right next to the dining table---double yikes! Then pile on top of that mess the door from the carport where the family comes in, which is on the other side of the dining table. A triple whammy, all in less than a hundred square feet of light-colored tile. Thanks for the contest!

Hi there! I just love this very cool Electrolux Ergorapido 2-in-1 Sweeper! I would use it, well, everyday! I have 3 young children all under the age of 10, 2 golden retrievers, and we live on a lake and we are constantly dragging sand in from the beach so this nifty sweeper would most definitely be used round the clock! I am a fanatic housekeeper, meaning I hate any dirt and dust around, but at the same time I enjoy living life to its fullest so we don't walk on tip toes trying to keep the house clean, I just do constant maintenance all the time, LOL! The kids don't realize how they are constantly dropping crumbs on the floor and the dogs don't realize how much dirt and hair they leave behind them, and then of course with an active family constantly in and out from the water a daily floor sweeping is always called for! Thank you for offering this terrific giveaway!

This would be most perfect for me for a couple of reasons:

1) I have hardwood and tile all over my place (no carpet whatsoever, not even rugs)

2) I also have a slobbery, hair-shedding, lovable golden retriever who makes the floors look... well, just awful. Every time I am on my hands and knees wiping the floors with a moistened rag, I send him evil glares and swear I will give him away if this continues.

This would save my sanity and ease my puppy's mind for good.

Thanks for the opportunity!

This would clean up EVERYTHING in our house - with old hardwood floors (tiny crevices and hard to clean spaces) we are constantly needing to vacuum food crumbs and dust bunnies, but hate hauling out the big vacuum.
Thanks for the giveaway!

This will definitely get rid of all of the dust bunnies inhabiting and multiplying in the apartment and fit nicely under the bed. There is only one closet and no room to store a vacuum cleaner.

I would use it to clean up after the grandchildren and I. We manage to get crumbs on the floor, "stuff" from our projects
(like colored sand), track in the out of doors and we can be messy cooks, too! But we have a lot of fun....and they could help in the clean up process!

Pretty Please!
