Kim sent us in photos of her bedroom with can only be classified as a palace fit for Alexander the Great. She reveals that "as an insomniac, my bedroom has to not only be conducive to sleep, but I also want my bedroom to reflect the sensual side of the relationship."Her bedroom tip after the jump...

Romantic Bedroom Tip: As an insomniac, my bedroom has to not only be conducive to sleep (no tv, no clutter, no light pollution, the perfect temperature, no noise) and a clear mind (no clutter) to carry me off to sweet dreams. But I also want my bedroom to reflect the sensual side of the relationship I have with my companion (sterile space doesn't cut it). Therefore, my bedroom tip(s) are about creating two moods simultaneously.

  1. Invest in the best mattress you can afford.
  2. Layer window treatments to make the most of ambient lighting-- or to shut it out.
  3. Down. Pillows, duvet, feather bed, slippers, robe.

OH my. If I could imagine the picture of the studio in red, and this was inside it. I would never leave.

I dare say this room needs nothing else to be romantic - it is already!

Are you sure it's not a magazine cover picture? She definitely achieved the look she was going for and then some! I'd love to see more pictures of her home. I can only imagine rest of her home is just as lovely.

Oh wow. Um... Can I steal your bed...room?

This is a gorgeous room. I thought I was looking at a photo out of Veranda or something when I saw it. Bravo.

Wow! That IS gorgeous! Tall beautiful gorgeous windows like that are not very common here in Salt Lake though! I'm envious! Those are windows of my dreams!
