Welcome to our Romantic Bedroom Giveaway - all info here

Name: Liz Caldwell
Location: Riverside, CA

Here's Liz Caldwell's Romantic Bedroom inspiration: "My apartment isn't much bigger than the room pictured above. I've always wanted to make my room into a "lovers paradise", but I've always been overwhelmed by the boxes and 'stuff' that clutters the room. Apartment Therapy, I need you." Her bedroom tip is after the jump...

Romantic Bedroom Tip: "I love to use the fancy decorated Christmas lights for mood lighting. You don't want any style that shows the bare bulb, as that can make them look tacky, but soft clothe covered designs are perfect."

I still don't get the whole "red" must mean love, sensuality and romance, and vice-versa. I think lighting and being with someone you REALLY want to be with are so much more romance-inspiring than all the red from the ikea basket AT's giving away. lol

All those pillar candles on the headboard could lend a whole new meaning to the phrase "set the bed on fire".

I can't believe that those candles are placed directly on the headboard!

well, the idea of a romance is different for everybody. I do not find it remotely attractive or romantic. and those candles on the head board jammed to the wall, worry me

Glad I'm not the only one afraid of those candles. Not into the hot wax on bare skin thing, so maybe that's it. REALLY not into setting my hair on fire.

I'm sure I read somewhere that candles aren't supposed to be any closer to a wall than three inches (unless you're looking for a nice romantic visit from the fire department, of course).
