Oooh! I've been meaning to buying one of these!!
It'd make my sewing life SO much better! That and my curtains could use a wash, but I don't want to go through the hassle of ironing them. But with this I wouldn't have to!!
My life would be less wrinkly with one of these. :)

I only iron sewing materials, not my actual clothes. I used to have a Sunbeam travel steamer, but it died a couple of years ago. This would be the perfect replacement.

My Husband's shirts for work, especially. Using an iron is very tedious and takes alot of time, and this would cut down on the time and the tediousness, what a joy that would be. I'd also use it for our drapes as well. I sell vintage doll clothing on eBay, too, and I think something like this would be great to use, as the iron is so large and the clothing so little and sometimes fragile. If this works well, I'd spread the word like wildfire to my fellow eBayers! Thanks!

I would use it on a fabric couch I'm trying to save from the garbage heap that's been taken over by pet fur/dander/general malaise. I have tried regular vacs, sofa shampooers, febreez roller tape, dryer sheets, rubber gloves - everything. (It's not the pets fault, this particular fabric just held on to everything like glue). But I can't give it away like this, so it has no hope but wasteland unless I can find something.

My roommate and I are constantly frustrated that the dryer on-site at our apartment doesn't work well enough to dry the wrinkles out of the clothes (on any of the settings!), so we could use the steamer to eliminate that second dryer cycle (or the accidentally-rained-on load that we hung on the clothes line). Also, could use it for freshening up the sofa!

I hate ironing and as a result often leave the house in wrinkled clothes. Not good...

With this, I'm more likely to steam my clothes. Plus! I'm in the middle of making HUGE curtains for my apartment and there's no way I can fit all the material onto an ironing board. So please pick me!!

The slipcovers are washable, however, I have been holding off on washing them because I am so afraid they won't look as good once I wash them as they look right now. They do need to be washed though, so the first project I would use this Rowenta IS1430 1400-watt Pro compact steamer for is to steam them once they are washed and dried. I would steam them once they are put back onto the furniture to give them that sleek finished look again! This steamer would be a dream come true for me! I can also use this steamer to steam my curtains in the living room and bedroom once they are washed and dried to also give them that perfect finished look!

A steamer could save the day,

I would steam so much of my stuff
never to iron again no huff and puff...

I hate ironing (and usually don't) so this should make me much less crumpled. I'd mostly use it for shirts and pants.

I am getting geared up for a fall cleaning and would certainly use this on the curtains (40 panels) after I wash them. I have several blouses and some slacks that I quit wearing because they came out of the dryer wrinkled. Steaming them would practically give me a "new" wardrobe! Thanks for such a useful giveaway!

Ummm.... everything. I don't iron. If it is wrinkled so be it. This might make us look a little more presentable. Definitely the work shirts.

I plan to tacle my silk drapes, which the cleaners can't seem to do without creases and wrinkles. I so wish they looked like they did when I bought them, all nice and shiny and smooth!

I hate ironing. I hate it so much that I don't do it. If it is something that has to be ironed, I send it to the the $1.75 drycleaners! This would break me of that really bad habit! Thank you for the great contest!

This might sound dumb but my cloth shower curtains have all the fold lines in them yet (you'd think they'd steam out with all the showers we take) and my bedroom sheers still have their fold lines. (Guess I'm not much of an ironer :o)

This would be a great prize.
