We first noticed Room Service while hanging in Palm Springs, where the ultra pop and mod furniture looks right at home.
Now, not everyone wants (or needs) a hanging clear ball chair, but when we where shopping for a hipster-mod-rocker-client, we found that the prices at Room Service were far better than anywhere else we looked- the ball chair retails here for $1,495.00, when it is close to two grand everywhere else.
The owners of the store are super friendly and the selection and options are pretty wide. We like the pink "Pan Am"couch and the tufted bed for a funky sleep option.
Plus, if you are not sure that you can live with these designs 24/7, they have a few fully decked out homes to rent so you can live the fantasy for a hipster weekend without any of the commitment.

They also have a great selection affordably-priced gift items for 20-something hipsters (a step or two above Urban Outfitters, several steps below OK, Fitzu Society, Zipper).
The usual suspects are in attendance, but yes, the staff is cool and the prices are fair. Plus, mid-century and hipster goods in the town that time forgot? What could be more perfect?
Their quality isn't the greatest. There are better repro's at the same prices out there. From what I've seen and heard, you're better off with Inmod.
better off to IKEA !!!
I love Room Service. My boyfriend and I searched high and low for a large modern sectional and couldn't find anything we liked that was still affordable. We decided on the "A" sectional, a 9ft by 8ft secctional in chocolate brown, commercial grade fabric. We've had it for over six months and we love it. Particularly surprising is how comfortable it is, I've been known to sleep on it from time to time when I fall asleep in front of the tv.
I bought a great magazine rack at Room Service that was a full $15 cheaper than the same exact magazine rack at Zipper across the street. What more can you ask for?
Alec--I can't believe that you featured the pic of the long, pink sofa! I actually looked at the floor model of that piece on their sales floor about a year and a half ago. It was priced ridiculously low to sell because it had just come back from the after-party/premiere for the "Legally Blonde" sequel.
looking for something similar to DWR Bantam sofa. within, or preferably below 1500 price tag. Any suggestions? Reviews of Bantam would be cool too. thanks
