Tea Time Moroccan Style

080807_tea2.jpg
Mint Tea Glasses evoke for me some wonderful memories of sitting in the big Mosque in Paris drinking mint tea out on the terrace. Sitting there, I had thought: why don't I have tiny ornate glasses to use everyday? I promptly decided that I must have these tea glasses otherwise life would not be complete. I bought 3 sets and now use them as my everyday glasses, for wine, as vases, votives, napkin holders, general decoration, you get the idea. The possibilities are endless and every time I see them they make me smile reminding me of a very special time. Here are some places to find some nice ones: Just Morocco, Natasha's Cafe, Casblanca Gallery.

They're delightful! I have sooo many glasses (including wine glasses) already but I think I could make room for a set of these exotic beauties! I hadn't thought of using them for wine before, so thanks for the inspiration!

I'm always tempted to buy these glasses when I see them for sale at Casbah Cafe in Silver Lake.

Maybe we should do a girl's afternoon out and have some mint tea at casbah. Or an ATLA summer shindig...

Actually in last month's edition of Womans Day Magazine some Tea Glasses were featured... They were cool... If I remember right they were on page 70.
