In our home, trays are indispensable. They catch our change and keys by the front door, they get pretty vignettes arranged on them in the bathroom and on tables. They corral clutter. Beside the bed they hold pens, votives and vases. And if we need them, they can always be used for serving food and drinks on. Our favorite trays from Magenta right here:

I really liked the pic of the slip serving tray...but too bad they don't seem to sell to the general public. When I checked out the site, you had to login with a company name and password. bah!

but they are just plastic right? i don't quite understand why those plastic plates/trays are so trendy right now. They are basically what toddler plates are made of but instead of Dora they have adult squiggles?
