092806chinoispull.jpgAline asks:
Help! I'm having trouble finding Oriental/Chinoiserie cabinet pulls in brushed silver, similar to ones in found on Hollywood Regency furniture. Any ideas for a source?

Hi Aline, have you tried Top Drawer Hardware on 5th Street in Santa Monica? They have a wide selection of decorative hardware, and if not, they might know a source for you. Does anyone else have any other sources?

Funny, I was searching for the same thing just the other day. I'm looking forward to checking out the other posted resources.

Thanks for all the great suggestions--I did buy some on ebay, but they are brass with some rust spots. Any suggestions where to get them dipped and what that costs.

I happened into Top Drawer in Santa Monica and they have really beautiful pulls that are quite out of the ordinary - and not as expensive as other places. I got copper knobs for my kitchen cabinets and thwy look great!

Aline,

Call Liz'z Antique Hardware and ask to speak with Brian Wood, he should be able to suggest getting them refinished.
