Good Question: How Do I Find The Crystals For Old Chandeliers?

crystal chandelier.jpgHey AT LA,

I have two small, old chandeliers that I'd love to hang somewhere but they are missing a lot of the crystals. Are they expensive to replace or should I just tag the chandeliers for my next garage sale?

Thanks,
Dini

Hey Dini,

It depends on the style and shape, but the first idea is to take a crystal off and bring it down to Liz’s Hardware on La Brea. They have a wide selection of old and new crystals and some don’t cost more than a few bucks a piece. (although obviously the more rare the more $$)

Good luck!

Don't give up on the chandeliers. They are too beautiful to hand over to someone else. As Alec said, you can usually find replacement crystals. And you don't have to replace them all at once.
