Good Question: How To Treat Leather?

questions_man.jpgHello AT, I was wondering if you have any hints for treating old leather accessories (frames, boxes etc.)?

-Debbie W.

Hey Debbie, our favorite thing in the world (on our list of 5 things to be stranded on a desert island with) is Jojoba oil. It is great for the hair and skin, and so it makes sense that it would be good to soften up the hardest of leather skins, as well. We asked our leather designer friend and he concurs. He uses the natural oil (sparingly) to soften his leather and to keep it supple without staining or using chemicals.

PS: Trader Joe's has a great price on a 4 oz. bottle ($7.00)
