Good Question: Modern Mailboxes?

Hi AT:LA, I'm a new homeowner who is having a difficult time finding a simple, modern looking wall mounted, preferably stainless steel, mailbox that doesn't look cheap or cheesy. Got any suggestions? Thanks, Curious in Culver City.

We envy that you actually can have a personal wall mounted mailbox, since our mailbox is just a small cubby lost in a mass wall of mailboxes in a central area. But I digress. Chiasso actually has quite a few options...

Check out Ebay for some cool mailboxes. Yeah, they have a whole range that includes some seriously cheesy stuff, but they also have some sharp modern mailboxes at decent discounts.

We picked up our Blomus mailbox at the Neoporte store in Santa Monica. They carry a couple of different versions. First picture in this post shows the box - click to enlarge pix:
