Here's a question we noted from our most recent Open Thread from AT reader "vagary" Does anyone have the assembly instructions for the Ikea ALG mirrors? They're not on Ikea's site, and I think I can figure out how to fasten them to the wall, but I'd hate to be wrong and have 4 mirrors fall off simultaneously...

I don't know how much this will help but in my experience, ikea's directions for wall mounted items are intentionally vague because they want you to use whatever screws etc. are appropriate for your wall type. So if you know how they work, then you just need to purchase the correct screws for your wall.

http://www.ikeafans.com/forums/ikea-instructions/ is the first place to look for instruction booklets, unfortunately they do not have this particular one. But, Enamorada is right in that wall stuff instructions from ikea almost always say to use what ever is right for your wall.

From the picture, I think they're installed similar to the Krabb mirrors (we put some Krabb mirrors up a few years ago). Maybe the instructions are similar or less vague?

You can call them direct and they will fax you the directions if you lose them. We had to do that at work.
