Can anyone helps MBC with their dilemma?
We recently moved into a great mid-century space. Our kitchen has good solid wood cabinets that we would like to refinish but everything else needs updating/replacing (i.e. counters, back splash, sink, floors, wallpaper, some appliances). Having gone through a Home Depot kitchen project in our old Koreatown condo we're hoping to hand this project over to a designer/contractor/kitchen professional who would be willing to work with our budget and the aesthetics of our place. Has anyone worked with someone great in LA? Or can someone give me some direction on how to find the person/studio/workshop that I'm looking for?

I only have a great hardwood/laminate floor recommendation for your floors: Venetian Flooring Systems. Cheaper than any place I looked at and they will do your floors in one day.
