Hello AT,
I am looking for a higher-end, nicer looking sort-a-file to sit on a vintage industrial desk. It's gotta be something that can be looked at all day- and not be such an eyesore. The Office Depot/Staples variety just won't cut it. And I've been all over town looking for hip, functional pieces (from Levenger, Fred Segal, hipster stores on Melrose and Third Street) that could serve this purpose-- to hold tickler files in a gradual step fashion for easy access. Any manufacturers or suggestions are appreciated. I do want it to sit on the desk and be sturdy, no wood-- I would be open to Lucite, metal, chrome (see the desk picture below the fold).
Here's the Office Depot piece to use as a sample.
Thanks, John.

What about these collators. I know that they are also available in very large versions as well.

Emperic is great, but I can't believe you missed Sonrisa, also on Beverly. Check out this link.

Not cheap, but VERY cool. I am addicted to their scissors and their in store map collection.
