Hello AT,
When I used the Mr Clean eraser, I thought it did a good job except when it came to the tub I could not get down to it as I have hip & knee problems.
Is there any way that you could put it on a rod or something to reach the tub easier? Maybe a squeegie type. Please let me know.
Thank you, Doris.

Hey Doris, we have been really happy with our Mr. Clean Eraser, too. We think that it is great on our enamelware (we have loads of easily stained white Le Creuset) and it takes marks right off the white tiles in the kitchen, as well. A little research makes us wonder if you are secretly working for the (bald) man, as a quick google search brought up excactly what you are looking for. The Mr Clean Magic Reach with a pole to get into those hard to reach places. Good luck.
I switched the similar Mr. Clean "mop" when my Swiffer Wet Jet died -- and darn, my kitchen floor is CLEAN. This is the floor that melds our airborne dirt to the vinyl with ambient grease, and it has stayed bright white for days now.
My own problem has been that the mop configuration doesn't go under low things, so I have to give the floor a few extra swipes by hand at the edges. But it's a huge improvement over the Swiffer and over hands-and-knees scrubbing.
i love the mr. clean magic eraser- it really worked wonders on my tub grime- i think the Magic reach could help you out as well- it's been great for reaching on the shower walls-
I read somewhere that Mr. Clean Eraser has formaldehyde in it. Anyone know if this is true? Or have other info on the toxic or friendly nature of Mr. Clean's cleaners?
The NIH considers the Magic Eraser to be non-toxic. The formaldehyde rumor comes from the fact that the ingredients on the Magic Eraser include a formaldehyde-melamine-sodium bisulfate copolymer:

That doesn't mean it releases formaldehyde, just that the material is one of those massive complicated chemical chains with molecules that look like (or started life as) formaldehyde. (It has sodium in the polymer, too, but that doesn't make it salt.)
NOTHING has gotten my old porcelain-on-steel tub clean like the Magic Eraser. The surface is no longer slick and soap scum and dirt adhere easily to the surface.
I have tried straight bleach, Kaboom, baking soda, Scrubbing Bubbles, Scotch-Brite pads, scouring brushes.... and for the first time last weekend, I tried one of my trusty Magic Eraser pads and plain water.
I now shudder to think of all the hours I've wasted over the years and what noxious chemicals I've inhaled while trying to get my tub clean!
Magic Eraser removed the grime IMMEDIATELY and with hardly any pressure. I can't praise it highly enough. It's the least caustic method I've tried, and also the best.... truly magic.
It's also top notch cleaning bike-tire scuffs off paint. I'm moving apartments this weekend and fully plan to get 100% of my deposit back b/c of this puppy. It's my second favorite cleaning product to use after, of course, the Roomba.
I CAN NOT FIND MR. CLEAN ERASER MOP REFILLS ANYWHERE. THE WEB SITE SAYS TARGET AND K-MART, BUT THEY DO NOT HAVE THEM.
Hi,
I just tonight saw some Mr. Clean eraser Mop refills at Long's Drugs. I hope this helps you out.
I want to get a coupon for the magic eraser mop- any suggestions?
I too have been searching for magic eraser mop refills, I bought my mop at Target and have looked online for refills, I love it.Any where else besides Longs drug I don't have one near me.
Thanks-
I found some Mr. Clean Eraser mop refills at Super K-mart. I had bought mine at Target and had the same problem of not being able to find the refills.
i have the mop and found refills at Roses if there is one in your area. They are priced at 5.00.Please let me know if you are able to locate the coupons.
I love the Mr Clean Magic Eraser so I was excited when I saw the mop, and promptly bought it. Using it was kind of awkward as you have to use a handle near the bottom to wring the mop out, but my floor was really getting clean, I loved it, until 3/4 of the way through my floor, the eraser section simply fell off the sponge base. I was so disappointed!
I am also having a problem finding refills. I live in Dutchess County if anyone knows of a store near. I do not have Longs or Roses near. k-mart never has any. Please pass on any information. Thanks
is there a trick to getting the mop to stay on? I took mine out of the package- then went to mop- squeezed it out once and the mop came off...it wouldn't go back on..i tried and tried but it would not stay on- then the mop unraveled into one large sponge and I ended up having to wash the floor on my hands & knees... wasn't too happy!
My mop head popped off after using it for 5 minutes! I can't get the darn thing back on! Any suggestions?
I found out where you can buy refills go to mr clean tools they sell the refills for $6.99 i couldnt find any either in town so i put it into to google and found this site hope it helps kim

I've been using it a few months now.. I do change the head after using it about 4 x.. It depends, if i scrub real hard it will wear out faster. I usually rinse it off with hot water when im done with it.. Use your own discretion.. I get my refills at the dollar store. Not all of them carry it, but i live in fl and mine does.

I found the universal refills at Winn Dixie here in Florida. The problem I have is how do you remove the sponge head off the Mr. Clean eraser mop?

Please ignore my previous post. The head slides off but at first I couldn't get it to budge. There was probably corrosion from water on the metal. Anyhow, I have found the mop to be an excellent aid to cleaning my tile floors. Thanks : )
