Kathleen, has a problem and needs help!:
"Hi AT, I have just broken the lid to my red le crueset cooking pot. I am crushed. It fell to the tile floor while I was taking off the lid to check my casserole. How can I get a replacement? I purchased it within the past year through Amazon.com. Can anyone help?"

ebay is usually a good place to look for lids. i collect vintage pyrex and there are always spare lids up for sale. i glanced at a search and some of your lids came up. good luck and sorry to hear about your accident!
You could always try calling one of the Le Creuset outlet stores. In Southern California, there's one at the Citadel Outlet Mall in the City of Commerce and another at the Cabazon Premium Outlets just west of Palm Springs on the 10 freeway.
contact le creuset customer service (usa contact if possible; check on internet site)--they generally have good support services (i used to work at sur la table).
or wait until ebay shows a lid...
good luck
Call Le Crueset, they'll sell you one. They also sell replacement knobs (one of the screws stripped out on a marmite I use constantly). I love the vintage colors and buy them at garage sales even if they don't have lids. I found a (non-matching) lid at Goodwill on my second try, but haven't seen one since. It's a cheaper, but more time consuming alternative.

the store where i purchased mine offers free replacement cooks of crocus hill in mpls give them a call ..... peace
IKEA has cookware that seems to bear an amazing likeness to Le Creuset. Maybe the lid would fit.
jonathon, we had a trashed lc saute pan a few years ago and returned it to le creuset, siting their lifetime guarantee, and got a brand new pan, free! whee!
here's their guarantee from their web site:
"We guarantee all our products for a lifetime, except non-stick coated products which carry a 10 year guarantee."
check out their web site for where to send.
good luck.
Contact customer service at Le Crueset-they have an 800# to call or you can contact them by Email. I had a lg stock pot and the enamel was chipping off the inside and they are sending a new pot (and lid) to replace it. Hope this helps!! P.S. You must contact them for an authorization # to return your lid.
