Good Questions: Recognize This Wallpaper?

012109goodquest2b.jpgDoes anyone know where this wallpaper is from??  It’s yellowish in color in the middle, metallic silver outside that, and lined in black (you can see it on this restaurant's website. It looks different at different angle and in different light. Does anyone recognize this wallpaper? -Megan

Megan, this appears to be Flavor Paper's Vapor wallpaper in pumpkin or gold [corrected]. We've posted about the Hollywood wallpaper store here before, so if you're near Beverly Blvd. you might wanna drop on by, or just contact them via their website, as the Los Angeles shop carries the line.

Perhaps it's just me, but the wallpaper in the photo submitted does not look like Walnut Wallpaper's Vapor...

Megan- the wallpaper is called Vapor, but it is from Flavor Paper. go to www.flavorpaper.com, and look under their geometrics line of wallpapers. It might be an old version with the black parts; the new version has gold there.

I like the "Stanley" design on that site. It reminds me a lot of a Sol Lewitt wall drawing.

It looks like the one in Madonna's "Give it 2 me" music video. I also saw this pattern appeared on the fabric trim on the hat of young Pu Yi in "The Last Emperor".

I would suggest "Trifid" from Osborne & Little ( http://www.osborneandlittle.com/osborne-&-little/vintage/wallpapers/trifid/ ). I have it at home and it's amazing.

I agree the Vapor isn't quite it, but it's close. Trifed that JPC suggested is extremely close, if not dead on, but gray... May have to rethink the colors because the effect that paper has is amazing... THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR HELP!!
