Good Questions: Sofa Identification?
Los Angeles

031909_IDA_PEARLE.jpgHi there,
I'm trying to find the designer of this sofa seen with Ida Pearle's alphabet cards in the background. I asked Ida but she said it was something the stylist brought to the photo shoot. The other is from a past house tour. I can't locate the tour featured (below jump) but it seems to be similar to the one in Ida's shoot. Any ideas as to who might make this sofa? Tufted seat, three cushions, dark grey, metal legs, extended seat? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you!!! -shelley

Could it be from Daniel Donnelly in Arlington VA?

You have to scroll down the page a little.
There's a much less expensive but similar sofa sold by CB2:

I've seen the real thing at their NY store and it looks very well made and it's quite comfortable. They're way better than West Elm IMO.

It's definitely not exactly the same, but Gus Modern makes some that are fairly similar.

This one is from Blu Dot, it's similar but with only two cushions but it looks like the larger size comes with three:

No its not the GUS sofa-the gus sofa has a much wider arm and no t cushion.
The blu dot one is closer-
Both of the above are unfortunately made in China-

Wormley had wood legs, not metal.

The second image, the 2 seater, looks just like what Daniel Donnelly caries. Bet they are responsible for the 3 seater too.

Very nice sofa!

I don't know where that particular sofa comes from but this is similar and you could customize to those specs:

I almost bought the blu dot sofa but the fabric was SO uncomfortable....

I have a Daniel Donnelly series 4907 sofa (3 cushion) that looks like this that I bought in December. I have it for sell if anyone is interested. We're moving and I'll be selling this along with a DWR Lino sleeper sofa.
