Good Questions: Where to Find Danish Modern Style Legs
Los Angeles

A few months ago, Laure blogged this Nakashima-esque coffee table. I am considering tackling making my own as the first part in redoing my living room. The first step: finding the materials. While I'm hoping to find a live edge wooden slab on Ebay, I'm at a loss when it comes to resources for Danish Modern style wooden legs. Does anyone have a resource?

Got a good question you'd like answered? Send your queries and a photo or two illustrating your question, and we'll see if the ATLA team or our readers can help you out.

Looks like eBay could be your resource yet again, as we found these set of legs available for a modest price. eBay's Parts & Salvaged Pieces is filled with odds and ends to kick off your DIY projects.

There was a post on here recently that said you could get them at Ace Hardware. Here's the link:

alexmax - There are more legs here:

if you scroll down you will find tapered and conical legs that are somewhat similar to Danish modern furniture legs.

dahliacactus, good idea. i'm thinking i'll leave the original rear legs in place, as they're not really visible due to the way our LR is set up. we'll see how it goes.
