what about shorter, stronger tapered legs that might work for a sofa? any ideas?

if you scroll down you will find tapered and conical legs that are somewhat similar to Danish modern furniture legs.

I want to make my own Anthropologie ottoman Nocturne - anyone know where to find turned legs like those? and even on sale for $300 its still too much!

alexmax, maybe considder six legs. one on each corner, and two in the middle.

dahliacactus, good idea. i'm thinking i'll leave the original rear legs in place, as they're not really visible due to the way our LR is set up. we'll see how it goes.
