Isn't it part of the Miles Redd collection for Oscar De La Renta?
The designer is Frances Elkins. Whenever I've come across it, it's always so expensive and to the trade. I see someone already added out checking stylecourt.blogspot.com mention on it. Good luck - it's on my dream list, too - so I'll be curious to watch these postings.
i think it's 'inspired' by the frances elkins chair. it's a bit different though than the original. i'll check out stylecourt. thanks everyone!

in an issue of domino, designer jenni kayne has these chairs custom made for her as inspired by the frances elkins chair i believe. I think she had them done for 1800 a chair or so.
It is also available from Grace Home Furnishings - not sure of the cost. You can view it online.
