In the case of risk and your dwelling, the only person it has to work for is you. I have found that I take risks, not liked the results, then lived with and become very fond of the risk.

I have the sam branch hooks as Maria, but not much of a risk since I saw them here first.

It isn't gray, it's black! (If I recall correctly)

I'm glad to see other black rooms here. I'm planning on painting my new bathroom in a high-gloss black. It was actually inspired by a Victorian hallway! I'm excited now. ;D

Call me wild and crazy, but I can't see that any of these abodes are especially risky. The Kappe house epitomizes conservatism in not changing a thing, and the others show eclecticism in some of the decoration but nothing otherwise out of the ordinary.

Even the black bathroom can be easily taken back to normal.

The riskiest regular house I've seen was by Norman Foster when he took a four storey home and removed every floor, creating a four level void with only a really really high mezzanine.

That's risk.

I love the living room with the blues and greens, it is modern with a retro flair.

I want the shower curtain in the first photo (you can see it in the mirror). Any idea where it's from?
