i love books but the cure's definitely made me way more selective about which books i keep.

Books or magazines are some of the first things I look for when I see someone's place. Even a pile of newspapers. Reading is very important to me--especially in homes with kids.

Oh...piles of magazines like People, Us, or OK don't count. Entertainment Weekly is OK because it has book reviews.

Agree with meltendo, I always look around for reading material when at a home for the first time. Right now I have all my books on shelves in a livingroom closet. I hope people see them when I hang up the coats on the hooks on the inside of the closet door!
