Los Angeles Magazine has jumped onto the green bandwagon and published a
"25 Ways to Go Green Without Going Insane" list (8 of which are posted online for your perusal), which includes a few of the tips we here at ATLA have already recommended, such as planting a
free tree provided by
Los Angeles DWP, or learning how to compost using an affordable, city subsidized
compost bin, or switching to
lower VOC interior paint. But there's plenty more great tips inside (including a commendable recommendation to switch over to native drought-tolerant plants in the garden, which we plan to do ourselves in our apartment's communal front garden as the weather warms) worth investigating in this month's issue, so kudos to Los Angeles Magazine for providing a resource guide for changes both big and small for a greener Los Angeles!
