Milkit Lamp Kits

We're partial to Broguiere's Farm Fresh Dairy when it comes to our milk. Locally produced just outside of our city, Huell Howser endorsed, and bottled in old timey glass bottles...this is how we like our dairy beverage.

But despite our affinity for Broguiere's retro glass bottles (we like to use them to store spare change; when they're full, it's Coinstar time), we do find these Milkit Lamp Kits charming. The $20 DIY kit transforms an empty plastic milk bottle into a table or hanging lamp, with additional decorative supplies to customize your newly recycled container with flora and fauna designs. Recycling, it does a body good.

I've seen independent companies here on the west coast adopt similar "recyclable" design concepts....
The light kits were seen here and there during the Christmas season... the jugs were adorned with seasonal motifs, and when aglow looked rather dapper placed along outdoor walkways and porches. I reckon it's a fab eco-idea!

Anyone know where to buy the Milkit kit. Bouf.com has it, but they will not ship to the states.
