We attended a wedding over the weekend here (which we'll post about later this week). At the reception, each table had a terrarium as the centerpiece which added color and texture. We loved the idea and found Kat's spin on a terrarium using light fixtures as containers...
Kat repurposes a chandelier, a light post and a glass globe as terrariums in her home. Because they're not traditional containers, each one is unique and eye catching. Additionally, you can find vintage light fixtures like these at a flea market--which is an affordable alternative to buying glass containers from a home decor store.

that's very nice! People have such clever ideas. And I gotta say I would hate most of these as light fixtures but they make terrific terraria.
