Why is it that we wait till the winter holidays to exchange gifts? Bring some of the fun to spring/summer by hosting a recycling gift exchange.
Instead of everyone bringing a store bought gift, everyone at this recyclables "potluck" party would bring one or more items brought out from storage to offer in exchange to one another (anything unclaimed could be donated). It would offer everyone an opportunity to find a home for things taking up valuable space and that otherwise might end up in the trash. Use it or lose it...to someone you know and like.
hmmmm, this could be risky. Invite your sister-in-law who gave you the neon gecko vase you're pushing at this party, and you're in trouble!
