This Compost Crock Is the Apple Of Our Eye

052708applecomposter.jpgWe normally wouldn't want to keep a compost receptacle for all to see, but this Apple Compost Crock not only helps store your kitchen scraps for composting with an odour-masking activated carbon filter inside, but it's also one darn cute container that could easily be used for other storage purposes around the house.

How cute!! I would love to have one like that for my kitchen which is decorated in apple decor.

I was using a metal step trash can that had a hard plastic lift out liner. It didn't contain the smell very good and the children ended up breaking the step lever. ugh!

Now I'm back to using a plastic one gallon ice cream bucket with a handle to put the kitchen scraps in.

Love it! We've been looking for something we can keep on the counter that looks decent! Much better than old yogurt tubs.
