San Francisco has already outlawed plastic bags, so let's try it on for size. Hopefully it will become a habit and we'll cut down on the billions of plastic bags LA county residents use every year.
i like that ikea now charges for their plastic bags, forced me to buy two of the gorgeous blue ones (they sell them for like 59 cents) and i use them for everything - groceries, recycled cans, laundry, tomatoes from my garden, even sometimes a hammock for my cat!!
