Target's "Home" Brand

AT:LA is excited to welcome new contributor Jonathan Lo to the mix. Jon’s two blogs - It’s (K)not Wood and Happy Mundane - keep us smiling and informed on a daily basis. We are so lucky to have his eye on the scene!

05-09-targetkitchen1.jpgDuring a recent trip to Target, we noticed that they have released a new collection for their "Home" brand, under the category of "kitchen."

Nicely color coded in a clean blue and white motif, this new line consists of all sorts of organizational solutions. What attracted us most was this under-the-sink shelf organizer. For many people, that weird, dark, and scary area under the sink is usually where random cleaning products, old sponges, and miscellaneous objects go to die.

Another great piece in their line is this stainless steel brush holder that has suction cups. We've been looking for something like this for a long time but never could find one specifically for brushes until now. Unfortunately none of these seem to be currently available on Target's website, but definitely check them out if you're near a store.

hey alicia-
i feel your pain- with all the 20 million products that are available at Target.com, I don't understand why they offer their own line ...online?... however they are easily available if you have a Target Store near you. I found similar on amazon, you just don't get the nifty Target packaging. see some here:

I got this one for under my kitchen sink and I love it:

It's expandable and is designed to fit around whatever the pipe arrangement is under there.

I got mine from Stacks and Stacks, but this model seems to be generally available--I think I've seen it at my fave hardware store and possibly at Container Store.

I'd be interested to hear how the Target organizer is.
