We love the diversity of Australian interiors and we're seeing more and more Hamptons style homes in Australian magazines. This Sydney home is a great example of the classic American style with an Australian twist.

Originally a small country house built in the 80's, the new owners extended it out and up, being sure to integrate the original features of the home- like wide parquetry flooring and painted cedar ceiling beams. With a neutral colour scheme throughout and hints of American, European and Australian furniture, this house has an elegant and relaxed feel. Our favourite feature about this home is the range of flooring and window furnishings, particularly the Burberry style curtains in the sitting room.

Too much symetry. Nice and clean if were a rental property or B&B, but too boring to live in.
