TileVault: Red & White Ceramic Tile

Where: Mercado, Silver Lake, LA
Why: Most stores decorate the dressing room as an after thought (if at all). But at design and decor store, Mercado, their tall and thin black door at the back of the store opens to reveal some unexpected colour within, like a dark coat taken off to reveal a sophisticated red dress underneath. Makes a nice pairing with last week's TileVault post from Maxwell.

This is a blog. I realized that they will post things, but not read the comments most of the time. And rarely comment on the comments.

It's like being greeted by someone, having them ask a question, and then having them walk away without waiting for the answer.

I guess the comments section is mostly for the readers to talk to each other.

They look good but little bit too bright. Using natural stone, like marble granite or limestone tiles, might be better for this type of mosaic patterns. See lots of similar patterns here:
