Glass Raindrops

121306raindrops.jpg
Last weekend's quick rainstorm is about the closest we Angelinos get to "snow" for the holidays (and looks like it'll be the same this weekend.) However, I always love post rain mornings, as all the tree branches are glistening with the left over raindrops. Smith & Hawken are offering a way to permanently capture that with these gorgeous glass raindrops.

A box of 24 is now on sale for $12. If you're not into traditional ornaments and pine trees, this could provide a great modern alternative. Put some on a few plain branches in a beautiful vase, and take inspiration from the way mother nature decorates.

Absolutely stunning...

I reside on the "wet" coast of BC... so this perfectly reflects our climate this time of year.
Water is the essence of life, so these raindrops are a marvelous symbol of nature and our environment...

Glass with class! Let it rain....

I bought about a hundred or so of these last year and I love them. They really add some sparkle without going overboard.

They are beautiful and I would love to order some but WHAT A SHOCKER, they don't ship to Canada. *sigh*

LOVE them! I'm an event planner and I need these all the time to add some "shine" to table tops.

Those would make nice earrings!

Right after I hit the order button on these I realized they may not be the most cat-friendly item (I'm picturing lots of batting and rain drops shattering on the floor).

Laura, I think they are solid glass, so they shouldn't shatter if they fall...

They are beautiful. Damn, I really wish they shipped to Canada.
