Menorah Cork from Fred Flare

120507_menorah.jpg Happy Hanukkah! It's Night 2; and judging from our morning, we're thinking that tonight we'll ease back on the manishewitz. With that in mind, we're thinking this cork menorah from Fred Flare would be a great back-up menorah (or a complete fire hazard, hm).

This wire menorah has a cork base that will fit in any standard wine bottle (be it empty or half-full).

Available at Fred Flare for $12.00

P.S. There's only one left at Fred Flare, there are more available at Baron Bob.

That's really a great design. Kind of like a backpacker's menorah, for survivalist Jews or something...

Fred Flare makes me cringe. Overpriced tacky garbage.

Overpriced? -- $12 will hardly break the bank. (Just sayin', 'right?)

And Hanukah is all about survival. Unless you believe Christopher Hitchen's kvetching all about it. (Waddya call a Grinch who wants to steal Chanukah? A Chwinch?)

$12.00 dollars for a kitschy bent hanger that will wind up in a garbage drawer. Make-shift menorah and sitting atop a bottle of wine; its more insulting than campy.

Again, garbage.

Ho ho ho, mothers would "plotz" everywhere if they saw this menorah in their kids' apartments!
