Slinks: Charlie Brown's Christmas Tree
n. (slingks) Surreptitious web links to other good sites

112807_charliebrown.jpgThis tree needs you. Paying homage to Charlie Brown's sad little Christmas tree, this could be a great gag gift for our impending office holiday party--or something to remind us of the true meaning of Christmas.

Made of wire and plastic needles, this Christmas tree also comes with one lone red ball ornament. Available at Urban Outfitters for $24.00.

I was just looking up this on ebay to see the price differences. Wow, they are going for over 30 bucks. Guess I'll be buying it through Urban :)

Ha. That looks like the only kind of Xmas tree my cat wouldn't jump on and tear to shreds.

Don't forget Linus' blanket!

Just looking at this makes me feel like a kid again.

It's the only christmas tree I've ever bought... Love it!

Also, if you're a book-reading person, you might be interested in reading the recent biography of Charles Schulz.

We saw this last year and I was going to buy it, but my (extremely cheap) brother-in-law insisted that we let him make us one. $20 worth of supplies and 2 weekends later, he appeared at our place with not one, but two, Charlie Brown Christmas trees. It's a little more tilted this year, but nothing a little love and a Linus blanket can't fix (or at least some hot glue and floral tape).
