We got a chance to go to the Jonathan Adler showroom last week and realized that we didn't have a listing for it in the shopping guide. So even though many of you are probably very familiar with Jonathan Adler, from the design of the Parker Palm Springs to his role as a judge on Top Design (and his catchphrase: j'adorable) here's a look at his LA Showroom:
Jonathan Adler's brand of 'happy chic' decorating always has lots of fun colors, draws its inspiration from cocktail hour in the 60's and classic Hollywood glamour. The showroom is a great blend of Hollywood Regency style furniture, wallpapers, rugs, needlepoint pillows and his classic pottery. The staff is enthusiastic and helpful (and we hear they like reading apartment therapy too!).
We also just got word that he's planning to open another showroom on Montana in Santa Monica next year.

I do LOOOOOOVE Jonathan Adler's way of putting things together. His store on Madison is right by my work, so I stop in there often. Unfortunately, his prices are way higher than they should be. I noticed he was selling Enid Collins purses for a fortune, when you can buy them on ebay in great condition from $30-$100.
