2008 Southern California Spring Garden Show Re-Cap

042808scshow4.jpgOver the weekend, we had a chance to swing by the 19th Annual Southern California Spring Garden Show, at South Coast Plaza, in Costa Mesa. The place was packed with over 75 specialty garden vendors and everyday fans of beautiful plants and flowers. More pics after the jump...

042808scshow2.jpgThere were a lots of vendors selling all kinds and varieties of houseplants, as well as outdoor plants, and small trees (there was a huge Japanese maple vendor that was amazing!) There were also lots of inspiration and ideas for your own garden, patio, or backyard.
042808scshow5.jpgThis one vendor was selling these climber plants that were potted inside large snail shells.
042808scshow3.jpgOne of the competition garden displays used normal cinder blocks as planters. We thought it kind of had a modern look to it.
042808scshow1.jpgA local floral designer, The Juicy Leaf was selling succulents in these modern containers, filled with textural layers of sand, stone, and pebbles.
