Blogging... HGTV.com My First Place: Katherine Heigl

It's a rainy friday afternoon and we just want to leave work and go home. So, what does one do? Peruse the web of course! (hehe) We found a light little quick clip to help speed up the time before the whistle blows. Now, we'll admit, we enjoy the occasional celebrity house tour. We came across this video on actress Katherine Heigl's Hollywood bungalow which she "transformed into her own first place"...

It's part of HGTV "My First Place" show, and they have an exclusive online clip. See it here. We like her fun use of bright colors and casual elegant style that seems very fitting to the actress. Nice inspiration on a gray day like today. This clip is apparently a few years old, and she probably doesn't even live there anymore (didn't she just get married?) but it's still fun to see the house tour nonetheless. What do you think of Katherine's "first place"?

They used hers as the print ad to introduce the show when it started. There was a spread in InStyle Home, I think. It is a very cool place and the colors seem set to compliment her collection. Yeah turquoise couch!
