So it turns out there is another design show called Designer Superstar Challenge for Canada's HGTV. Unfortunately they don't have the episodes online and I can't find anything posted about the show. If any of our Canadian readers can post it on YouTube, I am sure there are some of us that would like to check it out.
Would be curious to see how this compares to Top Design?

This is Designer Superstar Challenges 4th year of being on, so it's no "Canadian version of" or anything. I like it!

As the previous post mentioned, HGTV Canada has been producing Designer Superstar Challenge for 4 years now. If it is comparable to anything, it would be a show called Design Star on HGTV U.S. (which I believe has only been around for a couple of years now? could be wrong about that).
Anyways, Top Design is brand new and is produced by Bravo and is much closer to Project Runway in its production style. Not to mention that the judges on Top Design are world reknowned. They really went all out with their choices and I expected nothing less from a Bravo production. They are amazing at what they do (I'm a Project Runway addict!). :-)
