I'd want to hang something on the hooks. Wouldn't you?

This would make an awesome fixture for a walk in closet with a high ceiling! I love it. Playful and pretty.

Maybe take the hooks out?

I like the shape the hanger profiles make grouped together like this, but I think the fixture would be much more sculptural and elegant without the hooks.

I like this, but not as much as the wire version from Korea's 101 Design -- shown last year at the Tokyo Design Week, where the hooks are oriented to the inside.

On this lamp however, I don't really mind the hooks because they clarify the origins of material, which to me is part of the appeal.

I like it. It makes me giggle.

I could definitely get behind it if the hooks were removed. As is, it kinda reminds me of some weird torture device.
