I think it's more that the wood and the suede are more or less the same color. If I were a club or a hotel lobby, I'd be very happy. With different colors.

It's the extra-wide base that's killing me. I can kind of live with the arms and find a sort of weird flare in the whole Ming-the-Merciless vibe, but I keep expecting the furniture to roll off its little trucks.
