Annie, dear.... We prefer the term "Genuine Naugahyde."

Paul. I think $400 is a bit steep for this piece.
I had a loveseat--same era, some color, same material and only paid $60. Granted, I was still in college in the (ahem) early '80s. Regardless, this is not a true collector's piece that warrants the $400 price-tag. I think with continued thrifting, flea-marketing, and attending auctions, you should be able to find something similar for well under half the price. Something else to consider--if you have a cat, naugahyde is won't survive the claw marks. (Something I learned firsthand.) But, I agree with you. The lines are nice. And I'm digging the turquoise. But the price? I stand by my assessment of "close, but no cigar."

My god, what a hideous color of naugahyde... just the wrong shade of turq. That lumpy round chair a few weeks ago was the same color, but it was a given that it was going to be recovered.
Upholster this nicely, and it's HOT. Until then... NOT.

It's almost good, but not quite. Close, but no cigar, Ms. Lewinsky.
are you kidding Enrique? This is a must for the pivoting perfection... I NEED this Chair.
Well... I think the woodworking is interesting, but is that really turquoise VINYL. Not good :-)
Peace.... Annie
