I voted "yea." Although I'm not much for beige, I think these chairs could work in a number of places: seating area, living room, study, office. Sometimes a room just needs a bit of chrome.

Sorry, I think these are pretty horrid. Like something you'd see in a church basement, left from the 70's...

Not--for the following reasons. At $300 each, a bit pricey. Pieces have been re-chromed and re-upholstered. They look '70s to me and not Mid-C as Craigs List headline boasts. Eames-style?--Nuh-uh. Finally, though these pieces might look stylish in the context of an office/boardroom, they don't seem well-suited for residential settings. IMHO, they don't "read" as lounge chairs for a living room.

A better option for living room setting might be something like this for $129. http://ww1.westelm.com/cat/pip.cfm?template=8grid&pkey=cslefrn&gids=p080&cid=slefrn&area=shp At that price, you would have some bucks leftover to recover the seat in the fabric of your choice. (For my place, I'd probably go with cowhide.)
