I first thought it was a laundry bag before reading the title, which would be better. It's rather silly as a garbage bag, though to each his own.

It's going to be in the trash can - who cares? I actually avoid using large (regular) trash bags if I can, and instead use plastic grocery bags. Then I can save a few bucks to put toward food, education, and Arne Jacobsen chairs...you know, the things that matter.

You could be the best dressed rain-soaked person at an outdoor festival in these! But for garbage? I don't really want to call attention to my trash at the curb, but I'm sure there are extroverts of all kinds.

Children are starving in Africa and we're buying damask garbage bags...? I love America, but we've got some seriously messed up priorities.
(Not griping at you gregory...merely the people that make/buy this stuff!)

Haha, trust me, I don't agree with this idea myself. But I love seeing the passionate outcry against this sort of design overkill our readers are making known.

Having loved those black-and-white damask patterns in Vienna a year ago... now I'm glad I didn't buy so much as a candle...
