But if one wanted a monochrome palette for one's books, you could do black-and-white xerox onto ledger-sized paper so all the info would be there in glorious black-and-white. Hee hee hee.

In Curtis' vein, any color of paper stock that comes large enough would give you a monochromatic look with black type. So you could have an entire wall of seafoam green books if you liked...
Oh. Now there is a way to sort your books by color. Do custom jackets with the colors coded to the book topics, so poetry is always purple, environmental science is always green, urban planning is always gray, finance is always banker blue, and history is always blood red.
