Clearly, it does kind of waste some of the space, but I like the "gravity feed" effect.

I agree with Curtis that some space is wasted. I like the fact that it's a bookshelf ... for books.

Who cares about the wasted space, its a cool, unique design. The level portion allows you to display some knick knacks separate from your books.

I like it!

Books are happiest stored upright. That said, it sure looks nifty.

I can't stand the color of the wood but I like this idea much better than the stacking trend.
