If the patches were of various Madras plaids, the Preppies would love it...

I wouldn't have it in my house, but I like it because it reminds me of quilts (I'm a quilter). And this fabric would hide a lot of different kinds of stains. ;)

This combines the style of yesterday with the style of today -- perfect for a 50th Anniversary edition.

Fun, cheerful fabric -- I like it better this way.

Reminds me of old golf pants from the 60's or 70's.

That specific one is hideous. But I followed jss's link and see there ARE some I like. A lot.
The browns/yellow (dark) combo is NICE. I like autumnal tones. I like the off-white blend. The turquoise blues/greens and purples, I like that too. And the muted taupe/off-whites (lighter) too.
But the one above, no. And there are a couple in the link's main image that I don't care for either. The closest one like a crazy quilt on acid, and the one right behind made of flags. I don't like those.

Jeannie and Tony, I mean Maj. Nelson had a cool purple-magenta psychedelic egg chair at one point.

While I won't be buying this for my house, the wonderful concept behind this is reported here:
