We should convert our office seating with one of these to keep ourselves honest throughout the day. And these seats would surely make for a controversial dining chair option.
omg. doesn't sitting usually accounts to relaxing and getting off your feet? why would I wanna stress out about my weight when all I wanna do is take a break. this chair makes me think of someone someone who is obssessive-compulsive about their weight, that they have to constantly know how much they weigh. not a good idea.

As if people talking endlessly about their weight wasn't boring enough, now we prompt them to do so.

This must be for someone who cannot stand---asking if it is hot or not seems to be bad taste to me!

i think many of you commenter's are forgetting what sort of a site you are on. This is a clever artsy piece of furniture, a conversation piece, NOT a practical or useful item, and as that, it's awesome!
I love it!

A witty creation that divebombs our cultural insanity about weight. Great in a gallery; poisonous at home.

People, its FUNNY. Best never to take oneself too seriously. This from a gal with an impressive muffin top.

Put a back on it and have 8 of them at the dining table. Just think of the reduction in catering bills.

If you sit on this normally, will it still give you your correct weight (with your legs below the scale)?

I love it. It would be great in the corner of my bathroom. Some people take their weight way too seriously as it is. It's awesome.

File this under "being a rude host to your guests".
"Please, have a seat! And while you're at it, I'll check out what your weight REALLY is and prove your drivers license is a lie once and for all!!!"

I think it's FABULOUS! I want one just to put in the corner as a conversation piece. Or to use with a mirrored vanity. Love it!
