It would be great if you needed to practice being very, very still while you slept...

This is terribly impractical. Most people roll around several times per night in their sleep without even being aware. Is this even a real product?

That HAS to be a joke or an alt-art installment. Seriously...

Space economizing? What, do they sell a custom curved storage system that fits around the fetal position mattress?

where's the space saving feature? Shouldn't it come with a smaller frame or something?

Couldn't someone just make a bed out of a bench if they were really desperate and even considered this option for a second?
This is ridiculous. I hope it's a joke.

oops, did I stumble onto GalleryTherapy.com by mistake? Student art show piece, yes, and I would smile; but furniture, no.

I suppose the makers must customise the dimensions to fit the physiques of potential clients?

How is this better than sleeping in a ball on the floor? At least that way you wouldn't have to worry all night about falling off the floor.

This is when I will come right out and say some "art" is a complete and utter waste of time and resources. It's so ugly that it's stupid. Or it's so stupid that it's ugly. Take your pick.

As an art piece, I think this is very clever. :)

Um, does it come in a spoons version? That would be cool.

You just flip the mattress to sleep - or whatever - on your other side.

That's pretty amazing. I can only imagine the work of the craftspeople and artists it took to put this together. Clever and interesting!

C'mon, this is an art piece - no one is intending this as an actual bed for sleeping!

I vote that this is an art installation -- some commentary on sleeping alone, or of being fundamentally alone despite sharing a bed with someone. Rather bleak, but I see the point.
