If it rocks you to sleep like a baby I could be okay with that.

Wait. I hit hot, but then changed my mind, when I thought about the more robust activities that might carry on in a bed.

There's a move (page 179 in the Kama Sutra) which, if done on this bed, would cause swinging and break the window.

Can you imagine that after too many drinks? Bedspins swinginess = extreme woozy sensation.
But to rock to sleep, I would like this.

I actually envision your body expending energy to compensate for the swinging, unlike in a hammock where its enveloping your body and doing all the work. You know, like how you tense up in certain places when you're on a boat and its rocking back and forth. Not very good for relaxing.

The website says that the bed is kept completely rigid and does not sway. Not sure if that's a selling point for me, as I love hammocks and could imagine having this outdoors if done in teak or another wood that handles the elements well. It's lovely to look at, but totally outside my price range.

Yeah, it doesn't move, swing, or sway at all. You can just barely see them at this angle, but there are four cables underneath extending to the corners that hold the whole thing in place.
In my defense, let me just say this was literally the first piece of furniture I ever designed (almost 11 years ago). It's kind of a good lesson in what happens when you don't know enough to know whether your crazy idea is too crazy to work. You just make it work.
Anyway, I think I'm doing better stuff now (like Key, and some more cool stuff on the way), although I do have a big soft spot for this piece. It's quite stunning in person, and everyone always does the same thing when they see it: pushes on the edge to see if it moves.

I'm trying to think of what the point of that design is. It looks like a torture device, and I'm sure its super expensive.... i.e. overpriced.

If it moves, it moves too much. Making the top suspension points vertically above the point on the mattress box would make it more stable, i.e. sitting off-center wouldn't make it sway. It would still have too little leeway moving head- and feetward - boink boink against the front and back.
Now, to build this but make it immovable is just cheating. What is the point? A trampoline- like edge suspension or a headboard and feetboard with short wires would allow a limited movement, which at least matches expectations.

This is great! I love it. But it needs to be in a room with space around it...aesthetically speaking. And who ever said all good times had to occur in bed? Man, you guys are conventional ;-)

It looks nice but rocking chairs make me feel sea sick,so if it moves, I don't think so. What about the junk under the bed?
Too many sharp edges ..ouch.And my little monkey loves to to jump on mama's bed ...so this bed is a NO NO .

If that bed sees any action, it's going to sound like middle of the night construction work.
